Good job it wasn't there.

However, Silent Hunter seems to be quite friendly and reasonable from his above comments. Never judge a book by its cover say I.

I think I am out of date in simply using my name for blogs...perhaps I could be THE BEAST OF SYDENHAM (see local South London news stories four years ago - it really existed and it was never found).Calixhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05754832236324324540noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7985429043801017839.post-38117354678830309702009-04-08T18:05:00.000+01:002009-04-08T18:05:00.000+01:00Hi Stuart,I appreciate your point and I don't thin...Hi Stuart,

I appreciate your point and I don't think I am necessarily right, but I am now deeply cynical of anything remotely connected with an abjectly corrupt Labour Government.

I agree that it is a good thing to stand up and be counted for ones beliefs and although we possibly have a different view on this particular issue - your coherent argument has made me think twice about my opposition to your call.

Perhaps you're right after all.

Keep well Stuart and good luck with it. :o)Silent Hunterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12586061220673855660noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7985429043801017839.post-47836574394635708602009-04-08T15:55:00.000+01:002009-04-08T15:55:00.000+01:00SilentHunter: I don't much like the data-gathering...SilentHunter: I don't much like the data-gathering, either. But I suspect the government already has ways of finding out what my email address is and where I work, so I don't feel as if I'm giving them something they haven't already got.

The point is that if we get enough signatures on a petition like this then we will be in a stronger position to demand that something be done about it.

The difference between us, I suppose, is that I still think there is potential for constructive pressure and change within 'the system', as it were, while you don't. I understand where you're coming from. But my assessment of just where we are, and what our options are, is, at this point in time, different.Stuart Whitehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05090728365798166746noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7985429043801017839.post-49857281646935303532009-04-08T14:51:00.000+01:002009-04-08T14:51:00.000+01:00And readers might also be interested in knowing th...And readers might also be interested in knowing that when you log onto the Downing Street website - ALL your details are logged into their database.

Easy way to find out who the 'non Labour friendly' people are.

Still want to log on to Downing Street?Silent Hunterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12586061220673855660noreply@blogger.com
