A very sweary week for David Miliband

Poor David Miliband. The now effusively loyal Foreign Secretary has been getting sworn at rather a lot.

First, Derek Simpson. Now, Russian foreign minister Sergi Lavrov.

The bastards.

Its unfortunately difficult to judge the quality of the swearing in either case, though neither appears to be competing in the Richard Mottram or the The Thick of It class.

This can all be much more difficult than it looks. The Guardian ran a podcast last year with The Thick of It's 'swearing consultant' Ian Martin. (Parental guidance definitely needed: there is offensive language from the start).
