Sir Sandy continues to carry on campaign on MMR jabs

Sir Sandy Macara is being reported on the Today programme this morning calling to make MMR jabs compulsory before children go to to school.
When the former BMA chairman called for the same thing in the Fabian Review last year, some of the tabloids went into grand hysteria, suggesting this was some kind of Stalinist move to oppress families in a terrifying way.
Far more terrifying, is that 12 months on, one in four children has not had both MMR injections before they start school and the UK has seen major measles outbreaks in the last year.
In other countries including the US, Spain and Australia it is mandatory to give children jabs before they move into the social atmosphere of school where diseases can spread very quickly.
